Our History

1979

Starting off

Bern, Lynn, Cheryl, Lorena in a little apartment building off Western Ave that had been converted to rehearsal studios.  It was a dive and we were often overwhelmed by the smells coming from the Taco Bell next door.  But hey... that was all we could afford for rehearsal space, and all we could afford to eat!

1980

First demos

At a tiny little garage studio in Venice CA, we recorded a demo tape including Never Underestimate the Power of a Woman and I Want to Love you tonite.  There was even a demo of Donna Summers "Bad Girls"
